i liked that i could easily walk to the viaduct and the skytower. the ferries and shops were also really close by, great for exploring.

it was tricky to check in even just one hour early, though i had asked way in advance.

The king room disability access was very spacious. the bathroom had grab rails and an accessible shower. It met my needs well. i found the bed very comfortable, and slept soundly each night.

the breakfast was 10/10, and i had a great chat with the chef. chia and mango pudding was perfect. there was an egg order station that makes them however you like, including omelettes.

The hotel sits in downtown, RIGHT beside the Sky Tower. I noticed the SkyDrive bus station IS just steps away from the entrance, SO convenient. The hotel staff impressed me with their friendliness. I especially enjoyed the SPACIOUS bedroom and modern amenities.

I noticed the water pressure in the shower COULD have been a bit stronger (just a tiny detail).

The breakfast buffet offers a VERY wide variety of choices (I loved the fresh fruit). The dining area includes both indoor and outdoor seating. Service is available during breakfast hours.

I had a few problems . the bathroom sliding door offered little privacy, every sound echoed. they also secured a deposit on my card. It made a significant amount blocked. it took a week for the money to reappear in my account, a bit much.

the location was central. it was close to the sky tower (i enjoyed the view every day). i found several restaurants nearby. the breakfast buffet was also a delight (with an omelette station that i adored).

housekeeping did not service our room one day. when i requested fresh towels, they weren't delivered until i called again late at night.
